The Instrat Foundation’s own database of domestic lignite and hard coal mines in Poland. Information is available on two levels of detail: mine and separate deposits. The gathered data concerns, among others, organisational structure, dates, permit contents, company reports (extraction, employment) and a broad section on methane emissions.

The methodology, explanatory notes and a full list of sources are available after accessing the full database.

The database is available in a human-friendly format of Google Sheets. In order to filter or sort values in columns, “Basic filter” must be turned on in the Data > Change view tab.
