Electricity price for different hours of the next day (DAM)

The graph shows the price of electricity delivered in different hours of the day and the volume (amount) of energy bought for this price. It does not include taxes or transmission costs.

The transaction price for every hour is determined in two rounds (so-called fixings) on the preceding day. Trading takes place 7 days a week on the Day-Ahead Market (DAM) of the Polish Power Exchange (spot market type).

Fixing I: bids are placed to buy and sell energy (not including the possibility of trading with interconnected markets abroad), which are paired with each other. Bids are placed between 8:00 and 10:30 a.m. on the day before the physical delivery of energy. At 10:30 a.m., the price for all delivery hours is determined, but is not publicly available yet.

Fixing II: the next phase of bidding, which takes into account the possibility of trading with interconnected markets abroad. Bids are published at 11:15 and at 13:30 the price for all delivery hours is determined.

Aggregation type

Important: for hourly aggregation, the time on horizontal axis marks the moment where the hourly interval begins on the clock. The price for energy delivery is set for this interval.
For example, the reading for "10:00" point means the 11th hour of the day, which is between 10:00 and 11:00 on the clock.
