Following the holiday break, the auctions for the purchase of CO2 emission allowances in EU ETS kicked off again on 15th January. After nine quotes, the prices continue their downward march, which, looking at the mean monthly prices, began in July 2023 (average July 2023 price was 86,3 EUR/tCO2, while the first quote this year settled at 63,5 EUR/tCO2).
The quotes are available on our page within 30 minutes auction’s end (that is from 11:00), on trading days compliant with the auction calendar available on the EEX exchange’s website.
