July update of the website

The energy.instrat.pl team made a significant update of the platform on the 12th of July 2024.

A list of the most important changes can be found below.

New data:

Corrections:

  • Replaced one large sheet with data on power loss of domestic power plants by unit with smaller ones, each corresponding to consecutive years from 2015 to 2024
  • Corrected the data downloaded from the charts: Electricity production, source: ENTSO-E, Electricity price with next-day delivery (DAM)
  • Edited chart descriptions: Electricity price with next-day delivery (DAM), Natural gas price with next-day delivery (DAMg)
  • Added the “Other” group in the chart: Electricity production, source: ENTSO-E
  • Improved display of selected elements on the platform

Optimisations:

  • Improved performance of scrapers and contact form
  • SEO improvements across the platform

Other changes:

  • Temporary deactivation of the chart: Power system demand (load)
  • Added the warning about issues with data from the TSO (Polskie Sieci Elektroenergetyczne) (see below)
  • Deactivation of the “Total” data aggregation type in the charts: Electricity production, source: ENTSO-E, Renewables share in electricity production

We would like to remind you that our charts with “live” data (hourly and daily) are not working correctly. This is due to changes in the way this data is shared by the TSO (Polskie Sieci Elektroenergetyczne). More info on our blog.

We invite you to follow the development of our platform, as well as the news published on X.
